Service to commemorate the death of John Napier

2017 is the 400th anniversary of John Napier’s death.  He died on 4th April 1617.  We are holding a commemoration service in St Cuthbert’s Church, Edinburgh, where he is buried, on Tuesday 4th April 2017.  The service starts at 14.30 and will last about an hour, to be followed by “afternoon tea”.  The present Lord Napier, who is a proven direct descendant of John, and his family, will be in attendance.
