BSHM / Sociedade Portuguesa de Matemática website of mathematical postage stamps enhanced

BSHM has collaborated with our Portuguese counterparts to develop a website devoted to postage stamps with mathematical content.  The front pages have been modified to make access easier and the site will now be launched widely.  The huge majority of these images come from emeritus President Robin Wilson’s personal collection. Not only are many of the stamps beautiful and sometimes stunning objects but the related history will form a very useful resource, particularly for teachers.  It is available for on-line viewing here.
