People, Places, Practices: Joint BSHM-CSHPM/SCHPM conference

Every five years, the BSHM and its sister society, the Canadian Society for the History and Philosophy of Mathematics, hold a joint conference.  The next one will be 6-8 July 2020, in St Andrews, Scotland.

The conference theme is People, Places, Practices

Confirmed invited speakers include Karen Parshall, Colm Mulcahy, Edmund Robertson, Brendan Larvor.

A call for contributed papers will go out in June or July 2019, and registration and accommodation booking will open around the same time.

An education strand is planned
