Oxford’s Savilian Professors of Astronomy: The First 400 Years

To celebrate the publication in December 2025 of an edited book entitled "Oxford’s Savilian Professors of Astronomy: The First 400 Years", Steven Balbus (Savilian Professor 2012–24) and Robin Wilson are organising a one-day meeting in which the authors of this book and others will present the 400-year history of the Savilian Chair of Astronomy.

Participation is free and if you wish to attend, please pre-register on this form no later than 30th January 2026 in order to facilitate communication, the planning of numbers, etc.
