Winner of the 2018-19 Taylor and Francis Early Career Prize

The BSHM is delighted to announce that the 2018-19 T&F Early Career Prize has been awarded to Ellen Abrams of Cornell University for her essay  “An Inalienable Prerogative of a Liberated Spirit”: Postulating American Mathematics.

The Judging panel commended the article for its combination of strong research and accessible style, noting in particular the author's ability to contextualise mathematics without loss of readabilty.
